AutoMotorLube Pre Lube Kit FAQ

Q: I have a 1997 Ford F150 truck that has developed hydraulic valve lifter noise when it first starts in the morning and it is gradually getting louder.

The guy at the quick-change oil service I use told me that synthetic oil would solve the problem.

But after spending all the money to changing to synthetic oil the engine still makes the same racket as before.

Will your Pre lube kit eliminate the lifter clatter on startups?

A: Yes the hydraulic valve lifters making the noise will be pressurized and adjusted before the first revolution of the crankshaft.

The lifter noise and further wear will be eliminated. No need to use synthetic oil or multi grade oil with the Insta-Lube system working.

Q: How difficult is the Insta-Lube kit to install?

A: There are 3 easy steps to install the kit. Most of the installations take from 30 min to an hour.

Q: I have a Winnebago motor home with a 440 CID engine; will the pre lube system work on my engine as well as my four-cylinder Toyota?

A: Yes the Insta-Lube engine pre lube kit will work on all auto, boat, car, truck, motor home, marine, suv, tractor and industrial engines and motors.

Q: I am using a miracle oil additive that is supposed to eliminate wear on start up so why would I need to install the Insta-Lube Kit?

A: There are a lot of oil additives that claim to eliminate some wear by depositing a film of lubricant on the bearings surfaces.

But none of this will pressurize and adjust the hydraulic valve lifters or positively separate bearing surfaces with pressurized oil like the Insta-Lube preluber will.

Q: It's a well known fact that most of the Motor Bearing Wear
is at startup, so why don't the manufactures address the problem?

A: That's a good question and a lot of people ask it. It isn't a secret and yet only a few engine builders incorporate a prelube system in their design.

One thing for sure, they sell a lot more engines without prelubing than with it.

Q: Does the oil that is used by the AutoEngineLube kit come from the bottom of the oil pan like the motorized systems do?

A: Absolutely not! The possibility of the dirty oil taken from the bottom of the oil pan and bypassing the oil filter then going into the engine and ruining the bearings is too high.

The AutoEngineLube pre-lube system takes pre-filtered oil from oil gallery when the engine is running and stores it for pre-lubing on the next startup. Eliminating any possibility of contaminates ever reaching the bearings.

Q: Will the kit fit my 7320 John Deere tractor?

A: The kit will work very well on your John Deere tractor engine, as well as for all auto engines, boat engines, car engines, motor home engines, truck engines, suv engines, marine inboard engines, van engines, stationary engines, industrial engines, and motors. There are four kit sizes to choose from.

Q: How good is the prelube kit in cold weather?

A: This is an area that is especially important as a lot of wear takes place on cold startups.
By installing the pre-lube kit you eliminate most of this wear and prolong the life of your engine.

Q: I have a classic car with 6 volt electrical will the preluber work on it?

A: Yes the kit will work on 12volt or 6volt systems.

Q: How can you give a lifetime warranty?

A: The Insta-Lube kit uses only one moving part and it is designed to out live dozens of engines.

Q: Will the prelube kit be any help in preventive maintenance for my cab?

A: The Insta-Lube kit will benefit all engines and motors, some more than others.

Since you have multiple startups daily it will make a substantial reduction in overall engine wear.

Q: Will installing the kit void my engine warranty?

A: Your warranty should not be affected by installing the AutoEngineLube kit.
According to the MAGNUSON-MOSS WARRANTY ACT OF 1975installing aftermarket equipment does not void a vehicle manufacturer's original warranty.

Q: After installing the AutoEngineLube pre-lube system, will there be less emission?

A: The prelube kit will improve engine efficiency on startup because the hydraulic valve lifters will be pressurized and adjusted before the first revolution of the crankshaft.

As well as reducing friction and wear to the main bearings, rod bearings, camshaft bearings, piston wrist pins and cylinder walls.

Q: I have a 1951 Pontiac that uses a 6-volt electrical system will the pre-luber work on it?

A: Yes 6 volt 12 volt or 24 volt systems will work.
